These are the most famous concepts associated with Alchemy over the last few thousands of years, but what isn’t widely known is the impact alchemy has had on science and medicine of this modern era.
The goal of the Guild is to be a safe haven where anyone, be they practitioners, scholars, or enthusiasts, can talk about anything (pre-1600s CE) science or medicine related, collaborate with others, teach, answer questions, and share their research with others.

What is the Alchemist’s Guild?
The Alchemist’s Guild is a group within the Kingdom of Lochac (Australia and New Zealand) and founded around research, practicing, and teaching, of all things science and medicine related (pre-1600s CE). This encompasses everything from practicing acupuncture from the East to researching metallurgy from the West, and teaching everything in between.
The History of the Alchemist’s Guild
The concept of the Alchemist’s Guild came about in Anno Societatis LV (2021) during the height of the Pandemic when health and medical science were on the forefront of everyone’s mind. Despite this, the Office of the Chirurgeon had very little to do physically, as the majority of tournaments and events had been cancelled, so we got to thinking about what else we do that was inclusive and obeyed the laws of isolation – our own medical research (Pre-1600s, of course)! As ideas have a way of growing, over time this concept expanded to what it is today – a hall of science and medical research where everyone is welcome with an inquisitive mind.
